Start setting up your Gift List
What is a Baby Gift List?
Gift Lists are like Wedding Gift Lists or Registries; they enable you to set-up a list compiled of nursery/baby and toddler products that you would like to receive.* This benefits both the parents as well as the gift-giver, as it ensures that the parents do not receive duplicate gifts and that the gift-giver purchases a truly valued present.
When should you set-up Your Gift List?
Your Baby Gift List can be set up for numerous occasions. First and foremost, on the birth of your baby, but many parents also set them up for their baby’s christening, first birthday parties, and special family occasions where gifts are given.
What type of products should I put on my Gift List?
We recommend that you put a variety of products on your list and at different values as certain family and friends may want to spend more on your gifts than others. For example, your Gift List for the birth of your baby may include:

Your nursery décor collection
2-4 Dreampod sleeping bags (for warmer and colder months and as the baby grows)
Basic Bedding for day and evening trips away
Your favourite travel cot
Your pushchair, travel system or light weight buggy
Books
Toiletries and candles for both mum and baby
Registration
Before completing your Gift List you will need to register with us. You can register for Mamas & Papas Gift List in one of our stores, by visiting mamasandpapas.com or calling our Home Shopping team on 0845 268 2000 (UK) 1890 882 363 (Republic of Ireland).
In order to register for the service you will need the following information:
1. Your preferred delivery date and address for where/when your Gift List items to be delivered2. Confirmation of the list type i.e. New Arrival, Birthday, Christening
3. An active email address (if you wish to manage your gift list on-line)
4. Your contact and address details
5. Confirmation if your Gift List is to be delivered as part of a Baby Shower in our Italian Café Cibo (exclusively to our Regent Street store)
If you are already registered with Mamas & Papas you will only need to add your preferred delivery date, list type and confirmation as to whether you are having a baby shower.
Creating Your Gift List
If you wish to visit one of our stores before registering to set up your gift list, one of our sales advisors will be able to walk you through the process, help you choose your items and advise you on any queries you may have.
You can create your gift list at store, online at mamasandpapas.co.uk or by using your Mamas & Papas catalogue and calling our Home Shopping team on 0845 268 2000 (UK) 1890 882 363 (Republic of Ireland).
Once you have registered with us we shall issue you a Gift List number and a password to access your list, these will be sent overnight to your chosen email address. Within 48 hours of setting up your Gift List an email will be sent to you confirming that your list is ready to view and buy from. The email will show the gift list details you provided, at this point you should check your list carefully to make sure all the items you selected appear correctly on the Gift List.
You can amend and check the progress of your Gift List at any time by:
1. Visiting any Mamas & Papas store2. Visiting mamasandpapas.com and accessing the gift list area at the top of the homepage (you will be asked to log in with your email address and password in order to do this)
3. Calling our Home Shopping team on 0845 268 2000 (UK) 1890 882 363 (Republic of Ireland).
The Gift List will be closed 14 days prior to your preferred delivery date, so that we can confirm your delivery with you and collect all your items together into one delivery.
Friends & Family Purchases
Once your Gift List is set up, friends and family will easily be able to access your list to buy from, this can be done in the following ways:
1. Visiting any Mamas & Papas store. Our store team will happily provide a print out of your list once it is live, and assist your friends and family with their purchase. Once the items have been selected, a small delivery charge will be incurred by the purchaser, however should your friends and family choose to take the gift away with them from the store on the day no delivery charge will be made.2. Calling our Home Shopping team on 0845 268 2000 (UK) 1890 882 363 (Republic of Ireland). Our Gift List consultants will talk your family and friends through your list, helping them to choose their perfect present to you and ensure that it suits their budget. Your friends and family will be able to choose whether to have your gift delivered to their own address or delivered directly to you as part of your main Gift List delivery.
3. Online by visiting mamasandpapas.co.uk and viewing your personal Gift List. Your list can be easily accessed by entering your unique Gift List number or you / your partner’s name.
Any purchases made from your list through any channel, will update immediately in order to prevent duplication of bought gifts.
All Gift List items have to be paid in full when purchased. Payment can be made via Mamas & Papas gift card, Credit or Debit card. Purchases made in store can be paid for through the above methods plus cash.
Your friends and family will be offered the choice to have your items delivered direct to their home address or as part of the main delivery to the Gift List holder. If they choose to have the item delivered direct to the Gift List Holder, this will be sent to the agreed delivery address on the chosen date.
Your friends and family will only be able to buy from your chosen items on the Gift List. If they choose to buy something else, this will be delivered to them as a normal purchase and not form part of the main Gift List delivery.
If your friends and family choose to send you a Gift Card rather than buy an item from your list, we shall dispatch this immediately so that you can either buy an item from the Gift List yourself or use in the normal way as payment/part-payment for an item purchased through any Mamas & Papas store, online or via our Home Shopping team.Gift Wrapping Service
If they wish, your friends and family can choose our Gift Wrapping service for items purchased from your Gift List, regardless of where the item is to be delivered. A charge shall be incurred for this service as per our current season Gift Wrapping policy. Not all products are able to be Gift Wrapped.
Delivery
Prior to your delivery, you will receive a phone call to confirm the date of your delivery. At this point you will be able to buy any items that have not been purchased from your Gift List by friends or family. You will not be charged for delivery of these items.
On your agreed delivery date, you or a designated person must be present to sign the delivery note. We shall send you a complete list of what items have been purchased from your Gift List with details of who bought what. Any special / celebratory message that your friends and family have sent to you will also be included.Stock Availability
When a friend or family member purchases an item from your Gift List we shall where possible advise if any items are out of stock. For items that are out of stock we shall advise when the next available date for this item will be. Once your friends and family purchase an item we will ensure that wherever possible the item is available for delivery on your agreed date.
Due to demand at certain peak times, such as Sale, we are not able to guarantee the availability of items until they have actually been purchased. As soon as we know an item on your Gift List will not be available or is due to be discontinued, we will where possible notify you so you have the opportunity to change the items on your Gift List, or purchase it before it goes out of stock.
Although all items from the Mamas & Papas catalogue can be added to your Gift List, we may from time to time exclude certain items.
Charges
Your friends and family will incur a delivery charge for any item they purchase from your Gift List. This charge will be as per our current season charge policy. This charge will be incurred regardless of whether the items are sent direct to their home address or included in your one main delivery. If they choose to collect from store, then no delivery charge will be incurred.
Price Changes
As we continually strive to improve the value and quality of our products, the price of an item may potentially change. Items bought from your Gift List will be charged at the price applicable on the day the actual purchase is made.
Refunds & Exchanges
We want you to be happy with everything you buy from Mamas & Papas. If you are not satisfied with your new purchase, we will exchange or refund any unused item provided it is returned in a saleable condition, in its original, undamaged packaging. To arrange an exchange of any item bought via our Gift List service please call our Home Shopping team where a Gift List consultant will talk you through the process. Cancellation
In the event that you need to cancel or postpone your Gift List please contact our Home Shopping team as soon as possible to advise them. This will enable us to stop further purchases being made. If in this situation a friend or family member has already had an item delivered to their home address they can call our Customer Care team to arrange a refund or return, alternatively if the item was purchased in store they can return this at store with their receipt for a refund. Anyone making a purchase from a Gift List can request a refund or make a return at any point up to the closure of your Gift List (14 days prior to your agreed delivery date), after which the returns process will be conducted by the Gift List owner.
Acceptance of Conditions
The terms and conditions detailed above outline how Mamas & Papas Gift List will be operated.
